The final of the USPA Women’s Arena Open, held at the Orange County Polo Club in Silverado, California, featured a thrilling match between Wild Dog Polo and defending champions OC Polo. Wild Dog Polo, consisting of Jade Hiltbrand, Stephanie Colburn, and Tiamo Hudspeth, faced off against OC Polo's team of Kasey Morris, Mila Slutzky, and Marissa Wells. Despite Wells leading OC Polo and aiming for a third consecutive title, Wild Dog Polo emerged victorious after a 12-10 win.
The match opened with OC Polo taking an early lead. Morris scored the first goal, followed by a two-pointer and a Penalty 4 conversion from Wells, giving them a 4-1 advantage. However, Wild Dog Polo quickly mounted a comeback in the second chukker, with all three players scoring to turn the tide and secure a 6-5 lead by halftime.
In the second half, both teams fought fiercely. While Wells managed to equalize early, Colburn and Hudspeth kept up the pressure, and Wild Dog Polo maintained a narrow edge going into the final chukker. Despite two more goals from Wells, Colburn's last-minute goal sealed the win for Wild Dog Polo.
Stephanie Colburn scored seven goals in the final and was named Most Valuable Player. The Sportsmanship Award was presented to Mila Slutzky. The Best Playing Pony award went to Sevens, a 6-year-old mare owned by Colburn and played by her in the first and third chukkers.
